For most infant adoptions in the U.S., the hopeful adoptive family who wants to adopt a newborn will make a connection with an expectant mother who is considering adoption. This means she will choose who she’d like the parents to be for her precious baby.
How does this connection happen? How and why will she choose YOU? First, she needs to know who you are. That is accomplished by creating an adoption profile.
Your profile is something you create (usually online) and is full of photos, a video and words to describe what your life is like. You need to show an expectant mom how her baby will fit into your family.
