The infant adoption story in this episode is told by Brittney Landstrom, a mom who just recently adopted her son as a newborn.
Brittney and her husband went through some tough times and a lot of waiting before they brought their son home. They live in Canada but wanted to adopt an infant (which doesn’t happen often in Canada) so they tried adopting from Florida while also getting on the wait list to adopt where they live.
