FEATURED ON...

As a hopeful adoptive family, it can be an overwhelming and daunting task when you start to create your adoption profile. There are many ways to create one and lots of opinions about what should be in your profile. Your agency may even have certain requirements such as: no professional binding or staples or you have to print using a heavier weight of paper.

What happens after you’ve spent a ton of time creating an amazing profile and you are super excited about it? You need to share it.

Sharing it online is SUPER important so you should absolutely do this. What if you want to print some (or a lot of) profiles? You could print them at home, but what if you don’t own a $1000 professional printer? You can print them at your local Office Depot or Staples (we did for one of our three adoptions).

You can also have them printed at a local printing company. We did this by calling them up and explaining what we wanted printed. They were so gracious and even gave us a great discount!

Here are 4 ways you can get your profile professionally printed but won’t break your bank account.

PrintingCenterUSA.com
Printingcenterusa.com is an online commercial color printing company, located in Great Falls, Montana, offering full color offset printing services for all of the USA nationwide with reasonable printing prices. I really like their booklet printing with saddle stitch binding. Depending on how many you print, prices are as low as $1.50 each.

Blurb.com
I’ve had many adoptive parents tell me they’ve used Blurb and loved their service. You can create and print your profile online. Printing it as a magazine rather than a photo book will save you big $. It will still cost you $3 to $5 per printing but they give discounts if you print more at one time.

Shutterfly.com
I love Shutterfly because they’ve actually created a page that has adoption specific portfolio books that you can make. Many adoptive parents have used this and love it. Thankfully, Shutterfly is famous for providing lots of discount codes and promotions that will help you save money when printing your profile.

Canva.com
This site is awesome. You can create your profile using a ton of design tools they provide. You can upload your photos and get really creative. Then, save it as a PDF and print anywhere or have Canva print it for you!

I hope these ideas will move you to find the best place to print your adoption profile. You can do this!
